The research project that thinks the agro-ecological transition globally while acting locally
Think global”, the agro-ecological transition, with the aim of associating as many actors as possible with the reflection and implementation of viable socio-economic models and “Acting local”, which allows for the reflection and implementation of specific agricultural practical solutions based on the principles of agro-ecology. Our project consists in understanding the radical and necessary transition from an industrial agricultural paradigm based on a strong use of synthetic inputs to agroecology based essentially on the provision of ecosystem services (supply of nutrients to the plant, regulation of pests and diseases, soil structuring, etc.); the aim will be to develop agroecosystems that optimize these services under specific ecological and pedoclimatic conditions over the long term. Our project also focuses on the impact of this transition on the socio-economic aspects at the territorial and global levels, but also on the financing modalities of the transition.
